Applications：

Half Magnetic Drum is mainly used to remove or sort ferrous fines, tramp iron and other ferro magnetic materials from bulk dry material flow such as iron ore, grain,sand,gravel,plastics,wood,waste, cullet, etc.

Half Magnetic Drum is also named half magnetic roller which is composed of a revolving round stainless steel cover and a shaft to generate a half disc(180 degree) stationary magnetic field .

An automated separating system is formed if the drum is driven by a motor.

The dry drum magnetic separator serves in the primary stage of separation bu being the head pulley on a conveyor belt. This enables it to remove waste stones before they go to the crusher. In doing the amount needing to be crushed is reduced saving time, wear and tear and putting less contaminants into the stream that would go out to the tailings later. The material size can be up to 300mm.

Technical Features

◆ The magnetic system is made of NdFeB material with strong magnetic force, large magnetic penetration depth, high remanence and high coercive force, ensuring a high magnetic field intensity on the surface of the drum. The magnetic system is covered with stainless steel protection to ensure that the magnet block will never falloff.

◆ The drum body is made of high-quality stainless steel, which can not only improve the wear resistance of the drum, but also extend the service life of the drum, and is suitable for various harsh environments.

◆ Non-magnetic stainless steel is used between the drum main shaft and the magnetic system to ensure that there is no magnetic leakage transmitted to the main shaft, thereby ensuring the smooth operation of the bearing.
